Production Management — common questions

Does the production plan check stock before it is released?

Yes. Planning explodes the requirement against available and allocated stock and lists shortages by material, with lead times, so a shortage is visible while there is still time to order.

How is stage-wise yield handled?

Each stage records theoretical against actual output. When yield falls outside the defined limit, a deviation is raised automatically and carried into the quality management module rather than left to be noticed at review.
