Frequently asked

The questions we get in the first meeting

If yours is not here, ask it directly. We would rather answer awkward questions early than discover the mismatch during a build.

Is DeepPharmaERP built on ERPNext?

The transactional core is — finance, inventory, purchase and manufacturing run on Frappe and ERPNext, which is proven and open source. The pharma layer on top of it is ours: the eBMR, the LIMS, the QMS, dossier management and the compliance controls. Nothing in this site claims that ERPNext ships those, because it does not.

Do you charge per user?

No. The open-source core means the licence cost does not move when you add a shift, a second block or a loan licence partner. You pay for implementation, for the modules you take, and for support.

Can it run without internet access?

Yes. On-premise deployment supports fully air-gapped operation. The AI features can also run on your own infrastructure if you do not want inference leaving the plant.

Will it integrate with SAP?

DeepEBMR is a standalone application that integrates over REST APIs, so it can run against SAP rather than against our ERP. Several other modules can be deployed the same way. If you have SAP and want the GMP layer, that is a supported path.

Who does the validation?

We do, and the IQ, OQ and PQ protocols plus the traceability matrix are handed over as part of the build. Your QA approves them. We do not treat validation as a separate commercial item discovered after go-live.

How long does implementation take?

Twelve to sixteen weeks for a single plant taking the core modules. The eBMR and LIMS extend that, and the gap study will tell you by how much before you commit.

What happens to the audit trail if a system administrator wants to delete something?

They cannot. The audit trail is written to a separate append-only store with delete permission removed at the database role level, and timestamps come from the server rather than the workstation. This is the single most important design decision in the product.

Can we take just one module?

Yes. Equipment maintenance, the LIMS and the eBMR are the three most often taken standalone. The eBMR in particular is frequently the first project, because it is the one with the clearest regulatory driver.

See it on your own floor.

Two hours with your production and QA leads. We walk one product end to end and show you where it lands in the system — then you decide whether a gap study is worth it.
